Andrea is Professor of Innovation (Business and Management) at the Faculty of Economics of the University G. d’Annunzio and Honorary Professor at SPRU (University of Sussex). He holds a BA in Economics and Business (University G. d'Annunzio), an MA in Innovation (S. Anna School of Advanced Studies, Pisa), and an MSc in Technology and Innovation Management (SPRU). He completed his PhD in Science and Technology Policy Studies at SPRU - where he was appointed as a Research Fellow (1997-2000) and then Senior Fellow (2000-02). He was a visiting scholar at Harvard Business School, Michigan Business School, and London Business Schools.
Andrea teaches in Masters and PhD Courses at LUISS, ISUFI (University of Lecce), S. Anna School of Advanced Studies , and SPRU. He has been invited speaker at London Business School, Cass Business School, Harvard Business School, Imperial College, Rotterdam Business School, University of Michigan (ICOS Lecture Series), and University of Linköping.
Andrea is an Associate Editor of Industrial and Corporate Change. He also sits on the Editorial Board of Industrial and Corporate Change, Long Range Planning, Organization Science, International Journal of Technology and Innovation Management, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management. His work has been published in such journals as Administrative Science Quarterly, Industrial and Corporate Change, Journal of Management and Governance, Organization Science, and Research Policy. Andrea is an ad hoc reviewer for Industrial and Corporate Change, Journal of Management Studies, Organization Studies, Research Policy, and Strategic Management Journal.
